Davies Associates leads European discussion at international PR summit

Lisa Shaddick, Davies Associates deputy managing director, hosted a breakout session at the first annual International Public Relations Association summit, held in London in November 2005.
The session, titled Pan-European PR: finding the right solution, was well attended and raised issues that were relevant for both agency practitioners and in-house professionals, including making the most of your PR budget, standardisation of evaluation and the debate on local vs centralised European PR functions.
"I was very pleased that the topic generated so many questions and so much interest. It made it clear to me that the theme for the summit - Global communications trends, challenges and opportunities - was incredibly relevant for all PR professionals. True cross border communications is something that people are still trying to get to grips with," said Shaddick.
