Lisa Shaddick judge at the PRide Awards

Lisa Shaddick, Davies Associates deputy managing director, served as a judge for the CIPR PRide Awards 2006/2007 on 21 and 22 August 2006.
The annual PRide Awards recognise the best work in communications from agencies and individuals outside the Greater London area. There are 21 different categories, from crisis management to PR team of the year. The Awards are becoming increasingly popular: over 1,000 entries were registered this year.
Shaddick took part in the all important second stage judging, where the judging panels award the final results. Winners will be announced at regional events later this year and early next year.
Shaddick said: “I thoroughly enjoyed these two days, although sometimes awarding Gold was hard because the standard was high. In my eyes, the success of the PRide Awards, coupled with the quality of the entries, are signs that the British PR industry is alive and well, and more dynamic and creative than ever.”
