Chicago Pneumatic appoints PR agency DA to carry out European media relations programme

Chicago Pneumatic’s Vehicle Service Division (CPVS) has appointed London-based Davies Associates as its retained European PR agency with immediate effect. The remit calls for the agency to create a strategic PR plan, the main activity of which will be a highly targeted trade media relations campaign in the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Italy and Spain.

Paul Humphreys, CP Vehicle Service Division global communications manager, says, “we have been communicating with the trade press on a local level within Europe but as our market reach and coverage is extending, we felt the time was right for a cohesive European PR plan. For us, the best solution was to outsource to an agency specialising in the European automotive aftermarket. In addition to the media relations programme, Davies Associates will also provide event support to CPVS, as required.
